This year, I decided to try some monthly make up subscriptions. My first subscription I signed up for was, Ipsy. I patiently waited for my June bag and the anticipation was too great. But, it finally came and look at the cute little make up bag it comes with! All my goodies were inside.
Time to inspect the goods. Three full sized products and 1 deluxe and 1 sample. Needless to say, this month was the bomb.com. Every product I received this month I thoroughly enjoyed. I have yet to use the eye shadow, but it's very pigmented and can't wait to try it out!
It's been about one week since I received the June bag and I am in love with the blush, eyeliner and whipped fouette.
One: BioRepublic Skin Care - Green Tea Detox and Aloe Detox
- I'd first like to state, there were two face masks, but I used one before I took these pictures. The face mask I used had Aloe and was supposed to moisturize/hydrate your face. The verdict, it totally did! My face felt so soft after I used the mask. Normally, I like to use face masks right when I get out of the shower because that's when I get the best result. I left the mask on for about 20 minutes and after I took it off, I massaged in the extra stuff that was left on my face. If we're rating these on a 1-5 scale, I'd give these a 5/5.
Two: The Balm - Balm Springs Blush
- I LOVE the color of this blush. I think it looks great with my skin tone and the other makeup I currently own. The only downside to this is that it was a sample size and very small :( so I'll probably only get a week or two use out of it. Rating 4/5 because I wish the product was a little bigger!
Three: City Color Cosmetics - Shimmer Shadow Cheers to Life
- I'm not a huge eye shadow person, mostly because I guess I'm not 100% sure where to apply what colors. This eye shadow is so pigmented, it's perfect. I can't wait to use it when I go out on the weekend, which is also when I normally do my full face. This gets a 4/5 until I can fully test it out!
Four: NYX - Whipped Foulette in Cocoa Bean
- When I first received this product, Ipsy was like, hey girl, this can be used for your lips and your cheeks. I was like . . . say what . . . So, after I downloaded the Ipsy app that played this nice little vid below, I was totally down. 5/5 for fouette!
Five: Skone - Insanely Intense Tattooed Waterproof Eyeliner
- Yes. This stuff is great. Black liquid eyeliner is my fav. I think it creates a nice sharp, clean line. This goes on smooth and stays on all day without flaking. I even forgot to take it off one night before going to sleep and it was still perfect the next morning. You all seriously need to try this stuff! 6/5 because it's awesome sauce!
Overall, if you don't have Ipsy, I would highly recommend signing up for it. You get a mixture of full, deluxe and sample sized products. If you want to get Ipsy, follow the link below. Pay for a year up front and get one bag for free!
